Vacation planning, kite jonesing

Still bummed I was out of town for last weekend's winds, I've been thinking about trips for the next few months. I've also got a brand new Liquid Force 6'2" Rawson quad (man, that's a long name) that's itching to get wet. Nothing's worse than spending heaps of money on new toys that you can't play with!

So, trip ideas.

* Sounds like we're doing a local trip for April spring break rather than TX. I'm not sure I want to do a full week off work (well, I "want" to, but I shouldn't). So I might make a long weekend out of this one.
* Pismo KiteXPO is on like Donkey Kong! I'm going to try to be there Friday this year to help out Greg (or at least watch) with his kite competition.
* I might plan a week at the end of May. Perhaps Hatteras, maybe a long drive up the Cali coast.
* I have to get a Hatteras trip in somewhere cuz I just love that place. If not end of May, then maybe closer to fall.
* Finally, I've been thinking about doing a snowkite trip. It's harder to get skunked when you can kite in 5mph, so I'm thinking about looking for some cheap plane tickets to somewhere like Utah. I'd do Mammoth, but it's getting late in the season and I have been skunked there many times. Anyone up for a short weekend snow kite trip?

Puerto Rico is rad! I met a guy that lives there and kites and he says it's awesome. So beautiful there too.
