San Quintin is best in spring and fall, it starts to be hit and miss in June July.
We always hit it on memorial or what ever is the holifay in May, we never had wind on the 4th of July.
So go in my or early June.

Ya, Norfolk is the best from the west coast. There are a few smaller airports closer, but nothing on the banks. It's about 2-2.5 hour drive depending where you are staying. When I go, I use http://www.outerbeaches.com/ and rent a house for a week....
Hi,
yes flying into Norfolk is the way to go.
Consider renting a 4 wheel drive to get to some of the more remote launches.
Waves is the best place to stay I think, at least I eneded up riding there most of the time.
Thanks

Tell him, I said "Hi" and yes it was he who started luring me to the dark side. Yes I still teach at Mesa and it was both Chuck, Hugo stopped windsurfing and moved in with his son a few years back but that is all I know, and I have not seen Wayne. I have not been to Maui in 15 years but hope to go sometime in the future, when I do will certainly let you guys know.
thanks alfonzo, i forgot about this website and finally remembered i joined it a while ago. i will see you guys hopefully soon. we are in for some wind.
Rick and I had a first great day at South Padre Island. The wind was averaging 17 mph, we were mostly at a place called Hollys on the mainland, instead of the island. We did our first backroll, grabs and practice a lot of toeside turns. I was able to practice some transitional jumps. It was also great to see Denise and John, they are a great host.
